29 dead in Delhi fire; Arvind Kejriwal announces DNA test for bodies charred beyond recognition

At least 29 people died while many are still missing in a massive fire that engulfed a four-storey commercial building near Delhi's Mundka metro station. The toll is likely to go up as nearly 200 people were in the building when the fire broke out. More than 30 fire tenders were pressed into service to control the blaze. The PMO office has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the PM's National Relief Fund to the next of kin of each victim who died. The injured will receive Rs 50,000. CM Arvind Kejriwal also announces Rs 10 lakh ex gratia for the families of dead, Rs 50k each to the injured. DNA test to be done to identify bodies charred beyond recognition.
