Exclusive - Adaa Khan on completing 13 years in the Industry: The person I am today is because of the calls I took and the decisions I made

Today is an important day for actress Adaa Khan. The beauty, who has been a part of amazing shows like Amrit Manthan, Behenein and Naagin to name a few, completes 13 glorious years in the television industry today. We talked to Adaa about her journey so far in the industry, her regrets and a lot more. About the former, Adaa reveals, "My journey so far has been great. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten the kind of roles I got. I feel very thankful for the opportunities that I was given and I believe I utilised them to the maximum. I've seen some good, some very amazing, some bad and even worse days."

She continues, "You could say that I learnt all my life lessons and am much wiser today, than what I was 13 years ago when I started. While the learning process will never cease to end, life has taught me to never forget my roots or where I've come from. While life has taught me a lot, one of the most important lessons that was imparted to me was by my Mom, who told me to always be humble and kind, and that's been my biggest learning. And that's what I've always applied to my professional life as well."

Adaa is also quick to thank her fans for the abundant love that she receives, every single day. She says, "I have been blessed with the best fans ever. They shower me with lots of love and positivity, irrespective of what role I am playing or whether or not I am actively involved in any project. I thank them for all of the hype that they've sent my way and a huge part of who I am today, aside from my hard work and dedication, are my beloved fans."

Ask her if she regrets any of the decisions she took in her 13 years in the industry, Adaa says that she doesn't. "I would absolutely want to change nothing. I am the person I am and at the position I am today, because of the calls I took and the decisions I made. So there are no regrets. But if I had to change one thing, it would be to become more of a social person," she laughs as she concludes.
