- Terrorists kill 2 non-Kashmiris in J&K, Army toll in Jammu gunfight rises to 9
A non-local vendor was shot dead in the Eidgah area of old Srinagar city on Saturday evening. He has been identified as Arvind Kumar, a street-food seller from Bihar. In Pulwama, a carpenter from Saharanpur, UP was shot dead by terrorists. He was identified as Sageer Ahmad and used to work at a local saw mill.

An encounter broke out between security forces and holed-terrorists in Drangbal Pampore area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district, officials said on Saturday morning. A joint of team of police, Army and CRPF launched search operation in the area on Saturday morning after receiving information about the presence of Lashkar terrorists, an official said.

IGP (Kashmir range) Vijay Kumar announced through his official Twitter handle that slain Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar carried out the attack in Bandipora last week in which Mohammad Shafi Lone, the president of the local taxi drivers' association at Shahgund in Hajin, was killed.

In a major development, a terrorist affiliated an offshoot of Pakistan-based terrorist organization, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed in an encounter in Bandipora on Monday morning. The terrorist was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad and he was involved in recent targeted civilian killings in Kashmir.
