WATCH: Ananya Panday arrives at NCB's office after being summoned for questioning
Actress Ananya Panday was spotted leaving her residence late Thursday afternoon after she was asked to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning in their ongoing investigations.
According to reports, the actress was summoned before the NCB today at 2 pm for questioning. She was seen leaving for the NCB's office in a white salwar suit and glasses.

These developments come after a team of the anti-drugs cell visited her home this afternoon. However, while speaking to the media, an NCB officer clarified that just because Ananya was served the summons, it did not mean she was being investigated.

The actress was seen arriving with her actor father, Chunky Panday at the office. A team of women police were seen at the office to maintain a safe distance between the actress and the paparazzi as she made her way into the office bulinding in South Mumbai.

He said, ''The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed.''

Apart from Ananya, another team of officers were spotted arriving at Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's home Mannat. The officers were seen with legal documents, believed to be the case files of Aryan Khan, who is currently in custody in the ongoing drugs case.

According to reports, the search operations at the celebrity homes come after the central agency on Wednesday submitted chat messages of Aryan with an "upcoming Bollywood actress" to a Mumbai court and claimed that both were discussing drugs.

Aryan, who has already spent over 18 days in custody, will have his next bail hearing heard on October 26. His bail plea came up before Justice N.W. Sambre with his lawyers seeking an urgent hearing on Friday or Monday. However, the Bombay High Court scheduled the hearing for Tuesday.
